You might try scaring up a copy of my and Wolf Vostell's Fantastic
Architecture (New York: Something Else Press, 1970). It collects ideas for
architecture by avant garde artists of its time. Also James Wines and
Alison Sky did a somewhat similar book ca. 1978, but I'm not sure of its
title. There are also several books of this soprt in Germany-Werner Ruhnau
did one, for instance.

Sorry to be so vague, but I haven't though about the matter for many years.
