Alex Trocchi was a writer (_Cain's Book_ probably the best book on
heroin addiction, even if the _Naked Lunch_ is the greater book overall),
a culture hero of the London sixties/seventies underground scene, founder
of _sigma_ a (more or less secretive group of insurgents) -- you can find
an essay by AT around that in the old "City Lights Journal" #2: "The
Invisible Insurrection; sigma, a Tactical Blueprint." Anothert
intyeresting source for info on AT & the sixties/seventiesa is Jeff
Nuttall's _Bomb Culture_ (Delta 1968)
