      Discourse credits itself with an authority which tends to compensate
the reality from which it is exiled. If this discourse's assertion is to
speak in the name of that of which it is deprived, it is because it is
separated from it. At first glance the authority appears to cover the
loss, and then, to avail itself of this loss to exercise power.
