I don't like to boast, but try my books A DIALECTIC OF CENTURIES (2nd ed.
Barrytown: Printed Editions, 1979-get it from Small Press Distribution in
Berkeley, CA), HORIZONS (Carbondale, IL: Southern Illinois University
Press, 1981) and the forthcoming 2001: MODERNISM SINCE POSTMODERNISM (San
Diego State University Press, Spring '97).
