Oguri and his troupe Renzoku performed at Chance. They play around 
california alot, i'm sure NY and elsewhere...

though i haven't seen any other butoh performed, i am told that Oguri's 
is stylized slightly speedier. i'm not sure how other elements compare. 
you could certainly say it's pretty rough edged though.
