Just for the record-- Semiotexte books can be got pretty easily by booksellers at 40% (standard trade discount). 30% is standard trade magazine discount. Practically all publishers sell direct to booksellers for a discount of between 40 & 50%. 50% being very rare, special deals or very large orders only. & Saul is right, distributors generally operate on %15 of the cover price, i.e. sell to stores at 40%, pay publisher 45% of cover price. --Rod Smith --- from list avant-garde-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
