Waal, sorta.  I had a dustup 20 years ago with my committee concerning the
different meanings of the terms "sensory" and "sensual"--
also, I think S. ostrow is refering to the poverty of digital stuff's
sensual means, virtual reality be damned. It's still a tremendously
impoverished field compared to -- just sitting here, for instance, in a
reasonably mindful way.

The computer already runs the cinema. They've got soc. sci. statistics grads
running studio development depts.! Information concerning the pretty darn
predictable desires of target audiences already makes "our" culture.
