It's DUR NOYAU DUR, on the terrific Quebecois Ambiances Magnetiques label, featuring the Martin Tetrault / Rene Lussier duo. Lussier is a guitarist, and Tetrault wreaks ungodly havoc on turntables, vinyls, tapes, found sounds, etc. It's noisy, ambient free-improv. Amazing stuff, IMO. Really unlike anything I've heard. Many decisions, being made very, very fast. Kind of a "dromological" freak-out. Just thought I'd share this opinion. Apologies if it's a bit off-topic. ---s --- from list avant-garde-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
