Brad reminded me of the address change of the American Print Alliance
and the artists' book competition URL. I know that a few people on the
avant list have produced books and web pages, and this might be another
opportunity...

sorry brad thewww went out of business
and the american print alliance saw the light and purchased a domain name
the new address for the calls for entry to "scrolling the page" is:

http://printalliance.org/alliance/pages/bookart01.htm

The American Print Alliance will feature an Internet exhibition of artists'
books to amplify "Turning the Page," a celebration of the book as art that
will fill Baton Rouge in September 1999. Scrolling the Page is a
competition which offers a chance to present your book arts to larger and
more attentive audiences than any traditional gallery or exhibition. Our
site's attention to the print arts and our respected non-profit
organization draw collectors and curators, while providing an exceptional
educational resource at printalliance.org.

there is also an allowance for what Dr. Pulin calls "electronic books"
