Welcome to studio-visit.com. This is our third month in operation, and for 
those of you visiting the first time, I'd like to give you a little idea of 
what we have in store. our aim is to offer an in depth look into an 
individual artist each month. Since today's culture borders are constantly 
melting and fusing, we are not just limiting our studio visits to the fine 
artists, but also the designer, the musician, the performer, etc.

This month's studio-visit is Karen Heagle. She is a masterful painter who 
incorporates feminism and popular culture in an insightful and sometimes 
humorous way. You may have seen her work recently at White Columns, and a 
piece is currently on view at Richard Anderson Fine Art.
