    FREEDOM ON THE INTERNET   AN AMERICAN HORROR STORY

    THE FACTS:etoy an international art group  has been sued by EToys,an 
American    multi billion dollar internet toy company for trademark 
infringement claiming   that the art group?s name is too close to its own. 
Etoys the toy company has   defamed the international art group etoy by 
calling them criminal, hackers,     pornographers and terrorists.

***Interactive CD-ROMs, including "Immemory" by French filmmaker Chris 
Marker;     "Anarchive #1: Muntadas:  Media, Architecture, Installations," 
and "Where Where    There There ThereWhere" by Zoe Beloff and the Wooster 
Group.Three newly   restored audio works by Vito Acconci.  New videotapes 
include works by Phyllis    Baldino, Klaus vom Bruch, Cheryl Donegan, Dan 
Graham, Ursula Hodel, Tom Kalin,    Shigeko Kubota, Kristin Lucas, Tony 
Oursler, Michael Smith, and Julie Zando,    among others. Work from the 1960s 
and 70s are available by artists including  Martha Rosler, Juan Downey, Bruce 
Nauman, and Muntadas. Rare historical tapes     by Nam June Paik & Jud 
Yalkut, Joan Jonas, Vito Acconci, Terry Fox, Mary Lucier,   and Fluxus artist
