But Tom Krapfs point was, that you have to be good. What is good ?

Well, he knew the world, he still does, last time I saw him was in Munich.

Music journals are full of success stories of bands, convincing their
villages. Today, those villages arent villages anymore, NYC is just
another of those villages.

Mmmmaybe this is oversimplification but it seems to work.
