Well John, you will never be accused of being either high minded, original
or even thoughtful with this less then inspiring rant ( were did you crib
it from) -- I'm glad you don't think of yourself as marginal -- as such you
could probably get a job working for Pat Buchanan as a policy advisor on
cultural matters. Remember Marinetti who also wanted to level the field
helped found the Fascist Party. We seem to forget vanguardism has its left
and right and that much of what has been traditionally thought of as the
territory of the avant garde seemingly now can not be undifferentiated from
the platitudes of the rightthis is what happens whenever thought becomes
reified and positions and attitudes are made into roles that can be taken
on for the sake of supplying an identity to someone in need -- It must be
difficult living the stereotypical angry artist/ or whatever both craving
recognition and pointing an accusing finger at those who have -- declaring
each and everyone of them must be a sellout -- because if you can't effect
change how could they possible have -- given their ego is most likely half
as big as yours. (Of course we here are too polite to identify the real
culprits of your plight as cosmopolitan jews and mudmen -- but then how
long be fore your fustration leads you there.)
love you and yours
Saul
