Been there some years ago. We slept in the car. 

Eating was extremly cheap. Allthough they had special prices for strangers
in some places.

There are a lot of people who want to show you hotels or private rooms to
rent. Mostly to expensiv.

Many nice young people there, maybe you can find something in this
category. Some people did.

But, first of all, beware of thiefs. Take this really serious ;-)

And read something on the history of this town. They "cleaned it
ethnical", one third of the inhabitants, after 45, Kafka etc wrote
in german !!

Most beautifull thing were the many Cafes, take aways, that looked like
american movies of the 20s.

But things might have changed with more capitalism.
