Hello,

This is call for participation in sound project
by composer Arturas Bumsteinas from Lithuania
and poet Jesse Glass from Japan, called 4/24/65-an opera.

It is collaborative work which involves two
vocalists (male and female), narator, background voices,
chamber ensemble, various concrete sounds, sampled classical music
and other sound materials...(let's call it an electroacoustic chamber opera).

We are searching for people, who would be interested
to take part in the project. We need background voices submissions.
There is an instruction score for backs and I am happy to send it to the
interested persons (by e-mail, or snail mail).

The score concists of 25 sentences with directed instructions how
to read or sing the sentence. It is not very difficult, actually. There is
a lot of freedom in it, you can interpret it in your original way.
Every creative suggestion is very welcome!

All you need to do is just relax, push the record button and follow the score instructions.
Record it onto the audio CD or tape and send me it till the 30th of December to this
address:

Arturas Bumsteinas
Rinktines 21-64
Vilnius 2051
Lithuania

I'll include your voice into the audio of the opera
and you'll hear it releazed on CD within next year.
You'll be paid by a number of CDs, certainly.

If you want to get the score, or more information on the libreto,
involved people list or any other information related to the project,
please write me at:

Thank you for your time,
