This node made of wood and quite hollow seems of as little importance as anything it either might or might not possess. Though still uneasy, its search ends, even as it catches itself granting apparently selected and somehow nostalgic, 'ruinous' gaps of dystopic irreverence. Nostalgic irreverence indeed! What understanding might one imagine would allow a Kierkegaard, for example, to arrest that emotion closer to approaching 'delight', perhaps, in thinking himself shorn of reassuring certainties, than Kafka conveyed? Note the node marking the absence less of a need to 'discover' a meaning to his existence, than to 'live' that meaning. Then note the crumbs at the base of this knob, used here to signify the even more evocative, one might affirm, Heideggerian charms of dwelling, rather than merely living (on, off, or in) that 'meaning'. Next comes Duchamp; then Blanchot. T/here's an indwelling, a purr of a roar, especially 'about' composition; more at the fringes of laughter; amidst more elemental needs, but especially those having little if anything to do with the future. A late and unexpected nod in chaos, D. Socha
