Dear Qalams....

I am starting to become distracted by the Bataille list again. I am
having these deja vu experiences. All these ghosts are coming out of
the closet and they are not any less clearer. The opacity of the dust
in which they are covered gives them an alphabetic oar to lilt along
with an authentic joycean counterflow in the depths of the ocean.
T/here, they are dwelling along with the sparkling treasure of my...
eyes woven with silvery threads and chaotic pearls. A luxurious
expenditure that is seriously attractive chokes my propositional
discourse, takes the habits of an old tongue become young a-gain and
soo demanding I must say. I am not sure if I am up for the
responsibility but the lines keep coming, gathering this list whole
again as everything gets forgotten and buried by the maelstrom.

"I looked dizzily, and beheld a wide expanse of ocean, whose waters
wore so inky a hue as to bring at once to my mind the Nubian
geographer's account of the _Mare Tenebrarum_. A panorama more
deplorably desolate no human imagination can conceive."
Edgar Allan Poe, "A Descent Into The Maelstrom"
