Subject: Is Baudrillard a materialist?

Hi all. I'm new to the list and not very familiar with Baudrillard (having
only read _Symbolic Exchange and Death_ and _Simulacra dnd Simulation_).
I'm wondering if Baudrillard is generally considered to bea materialist?
Thus far my reading has lead me to believe that Baudrillard is something
of a 'suferficial' materialist. By 'superficial i mean dynamic and orieneted
toward indeterminacy rather than mechanistic and deterministic materialism.
