Hey folks, I'm wondering about how to get the simulacrum (and all) across
to sophomore lit students. I'm thinking about visual aids, photos or
even paintings that might help. One that I wish I could find is the
advert for a television (SONY?): a photo of a TV in front of the
grand canyon with an image of the grand canyon on its screen. Any other
ideas or suggestions? Wonder of wonders, does anyone know the name and
date of a magazine in which that ad (or one like it) appeared?

Please reply to either the l*st or me, Tim Engles (tengles-AT-uga.cc.uga.edu)
Thanks much.
