Recently I have been reading a considerable amount of Baudrillard
(perhaps too much). The problem is that the more I read the more confused
I get; I am hoping that some of our colleagues on the list can set me
straight on a few concepts.

1. Is there a relationship between Baudrillard's 4 logics of objects and
the 3 orders of simulacrum (perhaps there is even a 4th order???)?

2. Is the loss of the real a bad or a good thing (pardon my bluntness)?

3. Is Baudrillard only offering a description of our world or does he
offer ways in which we can, through theory or practice, work with radical
thought? If he does, I assume the concepts of symbolic exchange and fatal
theory are central to this.

I realise that these questions may be facile but unfortunately most
questions appear to be. In the worse case an interesting discussion may
arise. Thanks in advance!
