Subject: seduction and trompe-l'oeil


I'm working on a paper on a short story by Haruki Murakami and am
interested in using B's concepts of seduction, trompe-l'oeil and
simulacrum.  I'm curious if anyone on this list has any ideas about how
these ideas work together.  I'm considering the way a seduction of signs
could lead to the creation of trompe-l'oeil.  Any ideas would be
appreciated I've been reading "On Seduction" as my main reference point.
