It's late and I've had a couple of beers. I hate to muddy the water even
more, I'd like to actually have it less muddy, like maybe we could try to
get some consensus on some of the suggested explanations??? But anyway...
I was looking at this quote and it struck me that it could be reasonably
easily translated into a low rent country/western lyric:

>>I don't want to regress to a real object . . . I know that object does not
>>exist, no more than truth does

I don't want to be brought down to thinkin' about my baby.... I know she's
gone, as are my reasons for living (she even took the dog, damn I loved
that dog...)

>>but I maintain the desire for it through a way of looking which is a kind of
>>absolute, a divine
>>judgement,

But I still want her, and I can't get her off my mind, cause I know what we
had was righteous....(and she was fine!!!)

>>and which reveals the insignificance of all other objects.

and ain't no other out there that could ever come near to her.

well........ I enjoyed it- (what do you expect at these prices????)
