People who were listening, listened carefully and acted like he was sharing some remarkable telling truth. There was another guy who was talking. His clothes were really shabby and he looked a mess. He was saying exactly the same thing that the first guy was. His argument was the same. His prepositions were the same too. But people who were listening- with polite half-smiles on their faces but looking throughly bored acted he was throwing histrionics in the air and they rather be at home, taking long baths. Does the validity of your argument depend on what clothes you're wearing?
