why not...getting rid of rational endevours doesn't seem like such a bad 
thing (it'd make philosophy a whole lot more appealing). I remember doing 
a class a few years ago when a fellow student despairingly commented that 
sartre's arguments didn't follow the typical premise/conclusion structure 
that he was used to and yet the 'arguments' were persuasive. "how was it 
so" he asked

...perhaps an indication that to be formally valid is not the same as 
being valid in any "useful" or "meaningful" sense (for want of better 
terms...)
