Un blague? Pourquoi?

c'est bien la pire peine
de ne savoir pourquoi
sans amour et sans haine
mon coeur a tant de peine
(Verlaine)

And all I did was question the equation US military might=universal right.
And then, to make matters worse, I asked (and continue to wonder) why people
who spout chapter and verse of this Big Bible Book do not appear to question
their own belief systems--especially when confronted with what i thought
might be a conflict brought "home" in the most horrible, literal and
figurative manner.

Uhhhh, no. I repeat. I am the stupid one. I am the stupid one. There is
no inconsistency in this "make WAR and kill THEM" and trot off to some
Christian church to hear about love and compassion and caring and charity
and...

I mean, I didn't say that terrorism is good. I just wanted to ask if anyone
else was troubled in this way. Then perhaps I did mention something about
ethnocentrism and constructions of nationalism and that I am calling from
that country to the north of you--yeah, the one that helped CA keep its
lights on last winter.....

I thought the implications would be obvious. I uhhhhh guess I was the only
NON-U.S. National on THAT list. They booted me.
