Hi Ken, Who would've thought that we would "witness" another "war that never happened" and on the same terrain? I was waiting for you to give up on the Pravda briefs out of D.C. and to return to this forum with some relevant questions.:) Between then and now, what has happened? For one thing, I notice the colossal impact the internet is having in disseminating alternative news as well as graphic and raw pictures of bodies and buildings eviscerated. Also, the presence of news media networks representing the "other's" point of view and engaging CNN/Fox in a war of images, is another noteworthy development. No longer do you see the war as the Paris/Dakar desert rally. Believe it or not, war is real. War is messy. It is so at once on the level of lives lost and cities destroyed and the contending discourses and narratives... Just some thoughts from someone not quite in the eye of the storm. At least for now.
