Here's another truth event for you. On the evening of 6 April, as the Rwandan president Habyarimana was returning from a session of negotiations at Arusha, two missiles were fired at his jet as it landed at the Kigali International airport. The most likely explanation - one disputed by Hutu extremists and their French supporters - is that soldiers of the presidential guard based next to the airport fired the missiles. There is another theory that members of the French military or security services, or merceneries in the pay of France, shot down the aircraft. There are senior figures in the Belgian security services who think the French may have wanted to get rid of Habyarima, believing he was about to hand the country over to the RPF. The French had long supported Habyarimana and had no wish to see him driven from power by RPF rebels. The pro-Habyarimana faction in Paris was led by Francois Mitterand's son Jean-Christophe, who saw Rwanda as part of a Francophone Africa under threat from the encroachment of the English-speaking nations to the north and east, i.e., Uganda and Tanzania. Among Jean-Christophe's gifts to the Rwandan president was the personal jet that was shot out of the sky on 6 April. The implication of this friendship was clear: if the price for maintaining some degree of French influence was the preservation of despots, then Paris was always more than willing to pay.

Within one hundred days up to one million people (mostly members of the Tutsi minority)were hacked, shot, stranged, clubbed and burned to death.
Among other crimes, the Tutsis were guilty of not speaking French, largely because long years of exile in Uganda had forced them to abandon the French language.

However there were no worldwide demonstations to protest this "truth event". After all, from the European perspective, it was just a bunch of niggers killing each other, like the 3 to 5 million who have been killed since 1998 in the ongoing war in the Congo. Certainly nothing for white Europeans to get worked up about. The coverage of violence in Central Africa always depends on whether or not there are any white Europeans to be rescued and they are invariably the main news priority.

Much of France's current wealth comes from the day when Napoleon assaulted Haiti, leaving what was at one time France's richest colony in complete ruins, almost wiped off the map, just as much of Belgium's wealth comes from its' richest colony, what is today called the Congo, when 3 to 6 million blacks were slaughtered during the reign of King Leopold, once again to help enrich Europe.
