Subject: Need help

Hi,

I don't know if this is the right place for this question
but I can't think of better place.

I'm plan to apply for a doctoral degree in Political
Science. I have some requirements, or better say
preferences, about the department I want to study in:

1. It must be in an English speaking country, i.e.
Britain of the States.

2. I plan to continue in an academic career, so I prefer
a known and prestige university that will give me the
base for continue in academy.

3. My main Interest is in Political Theory, but I want to
find a university that have good programs in other
domains, to get a full scope of the discipline.

4. I'm very interested in the Realist philosophy of
science. I'm now working on a M.A. thesis dissertation on the
concept of power, influenced by Isaac's realist
model of power. I want to study in a university that have
someone that can guide me in studying Realism, either he
himself a Realist, or has sympathy (and understanding)
toward Realism. I prefer someone who is in political
science department, but if there is a good political
science department, and a realist in a philosophy
department in the same university, I would like to hear
about it.

Thanks,

Amit Ron
