When this exists, it is a significant human accomplishment of the sort texts on meditation refer to as enlightenment. The problem I have with the concept is that in order for experience to be meaningless, the mind must be blank. Suppose I look through a microscope at a cell, but for lack of training see nothing of significance, and anyway think of a dinner date, or errands to run, etc. Anything running through my head can attach to the event and give the experience meaning. Connections of all sorts surface in dreams. Howard --- from list bhaskar-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- --- from list bhaskar-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
