Something about this comment of yours struck me:

otherness betrays a commitment to the very unified "in control" subject
that is been denied whilst being affirmed."

Does the idea you are countering come down to trying to explain
subjectivity by saying we consist of bundles of discrete selves?  The self
as a bundle of selves?  That is like trying to explain perception by
supposing we have a little person inside us who watches retinal images.
Please tell me pomos are not dressing up that stupid idea in fancy clothes!
