Thanks Louis for the wonderful metaphor about tearing down a house to 
show that the four walls surrounded nothing. 

On the other hand, All, any science is about discovering the generative 
tendencies which account for appearances.  Deconstructive techniques 
can be a useful way to unpeal appearances.  On the still other hand, if 
you have another left, if there is nothing but appearances, then 
technique gets lost in a maze, feeds on itself, etc.  In the end isn't it 
depth realism that gives bite to the method?
