Subject: BHA: Is maths real?

Hi

Following from the discussion of probability, I
would be very interested to hear what people
think about the ontological status of
mathematical concept within CR - ie are they
real, do they exist? If so in what sense or
through what criterion? How do they differ
ontologically ffom eg physical entities? Are
they _discoveries_ in a domain independent of
ourselves or are they simply human _inventions_ ?
