Hi all--

Regarding the role of contradiction in art, I don't have *Dialectic* handy
but I think RB considers logical, performative and other contradictions as
forms of absence, and certainly the effort to overcome contradictions (via
transcendence or otherwise) could be an absenting of an absence.  To get
back to Gary's argument!
