Hi all--

A comment on having a journal for CR-DCR work: Mervyn quite rightly points
out that currently this is unfeasible. (What?! We agreed on something??)
Given our small numbers and international spread, I think it's financially
unworkable, for the time being anyway.

Or rather, it's financially unworkable if such a journal has to be
*printed*. An *electronic* journal is another matter, and is worth
considering. Such journals are becoming increasingly acceptable.

Finally, even if the logistics of creating an effective referree system is
beyond our present abilities, people might consider posting articles at the
Web Site for Critical Realism. This site and the CCR site are, I think,
drastically under-utilized. Articles, glossaries, threads on specific
issues, announcements, *Alethia* and the like should all be available at one
(or both) of these sites. The URLs are:

CCR: http://www.criticalrealism.demon.co.uk

WSCR: http://www.raggedclaws.com/criticalrealism//

Incidentally, if you ever try a Web search on "critical realism" or
"Bhaskar," a lot of your hits will be to these two sites. If that makes you
pause over letting it languish, it should....
