Subject: Re: BHA: Adorno on style



Whilst reading the posts a half-remembered quote came to mind, something
about how just because the world is complex and tortured, doesn't
necessitate torturing the reader.  

An aside on Adorno.... it's as well to remember that the frankfurt
school's Marxism foresaw its own repeated reformulation... which makes
me wonder whether Adorno would make the same arguments re clarity if he were
writing today.
