On Bhaskar's book a question. In Dialectic, he argues that it is an incomplete project and stands in a complex relationship - and hence can only be fully situated and completed - to the books that will follow it. He mentions a couple of these, one of which I think can be considered Plato etc. However, the other two, "Marx, Hume, Hegel" (I think I'm not in the office so haven't got my copy at hand)and a book on Dialectical Social Theory, have not yet appeared. In the light of his comment re Dialectic and these other works, where might this new book stand. I'm not arguing that he doesn't have the right to write what he wants but will the Dialectic project ever be complete, even in his own terms?
