As you say, that is already in the notion of Transcendental Realism (in RTS) - but I've discovered a phrase buried deep in the book which refers to DCR as 'further transcendentalised' by FEW. And that it is! But we could certainly bracket out C as implied by T, and I suppose even D as implied by T, ie dialectical is a species of transcendental argument... - but that would hardly do justice to the (further) proliferation of dialectic in the book. What is the ending? The dialectic never ends! (But then, what is the beginning? (apologies to I think Virginia Wolf)). Mervyn Ruth Groff <rgroff-AT-yorku.ca> writes >I know that Mervyn is seriously trying to not give away the ending of the >movie until we all get a chance to see it, but what's the T stand for? (I'm >assuming DCR is same as before.) Terrific dialectical critical realism? >True DCR? Transcendental DCR? [If this last, couldn't we then opt for >T(DC)R, pointing back to the original, and still my favorite, TR?! :)] > >Warmly, >r. > > > > --- from list bhaskar-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- -- Mervyn Hartwig 13 Spenser Road Herne Hill London SE24 ONS United Kingdom Tel: 020 7 737 2892 Email: mh-AT-jaspere.demon.co.uk --- from list bhaskar-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
