Hi all,

Sorry, but 'anglicanization' (see below) was a malapropism (Freudian
slip??) for 'anglicization'.

Hi all,

FYI, re previous discussions, Christopher Norris, *Quantum Theory and
the Flight from Realism* Routledge 2000, now out, argues a realist
position re quantum mechanics by espousing 1) alethic as distinct from
epistemic realism (which he claims is basically the position Einstein
defended against Bohr) and 2) a correspondence theory of truth.

The new *Alethia* is now out. For details see below.

Certain pedants are apparently saying that we have got the spelling of
*Alethia* wrong. In classical Greek it is *Aletheia* with the first *e*
long. They haven't heard of anglicanization, apparently.

ALETHIA is the newsletter of the International Association for
Critical Realism [IACR], established in 1997 in association with
the Centre for Critical Realism [CCR] to stimulate the discussion,

as a multidisciplinary and emancipatory/transformative movement. It
aims to be responsive to the IACR membership and invites discussion
and feedback. Contributions from non-members will be considered.
