Hi Colin,

Okay, this is starting to get really frustrating.  Brad wrote that CR gives
us the tools with which to decide which theories are most accurate.  I asked
him, and/or others, if they agree with him, to elaborate.  

You suggest that this request reveals a misguided need of mine for abstract
criteria with which to achieve absolute certainty.  I can't figure out why
you have attributed this stance to me.  True, I have insisted, repeatedly,
soon even in print, that it is precisely such criteria that a commitment to
ontological realism coupled with "judgmental rationality" does NOT provide.
But I haven't *criticized* CR for failing to provide such criteria.  I've
just insisted that we be clear that it *doesn't* do so.  Honestly Colin, I
don't think it's me that you are arguing with here.

Substantively, I can't quite tell from your post whether you agree with
Brad's assessment or not.
