Subject: BHA: Brian Ellis revisited

Hi everyone,

I'd like to have a discussion with anyone who's interested on the precise differences between Brian Ellis and the Bhaskar of *RTS* regarding the nature of, status of, and relationships between what Bhaskar terms real essences and powers and what Ellis terms substance, process and dispositional property universals. I want to clarify my understanding of the differences in the way that the two divide things up. This discussion doesn't need to be on-list, since it might not be all that exiting to most normal people!

Any willing interlocutors?

Also, re: Leibniz: am I to take it that no one has any two cents to offer? [How can this be?!]

Warmly,
Ruth
