I only know that the CCR decided a few months ago on a day-seminar for
November on 'What is materialism?' at which Bhaskar was keen to speak
and in which Marxists (presumably metaphysically materialist ones) were
to be invited to participate. I have no further details yet, but I'll
try and gee the organizers up (if there be any such lurking, please gee
up!). Perhaps there's a problem in finding such Marxists to come
forward... though judging from Phil's fighting post, which I've only
just seen, if there has been a problem it will definitely dematerialize!
