Subject: Re: BHA: Bhaskar and knowledge

HI
related to my previous email I am also looking at knowledge.
Obviously at one level everything RB says is about knowledge, at least scientific knowledge, but I am more interested in everyday, commonsense knowledge - "I know that..." "I know how to ..." etc.

Many people would say that this is often not explicit and representational but tacit and even embodied. I am sure I have read somewhere Bhaskar talking about different types or levels of knowledge like that but I cannot find it. Can anyone help me?

John
