Well yes it is completely shallow Ameropathic new age guru guff, is it not?

It can't be anything that Bhaskar has approved... surely?

They seem to have reduced him to some sort of variant of the Bhagwan ("The
Bag Wash" as we used to call him, due to the strange robes of his
followers).

What I want to know is this... will we have to wear his image on a thing
round our necks? and.. will we have to wear strange togs and chant and
stuff?...and will we have to call him "Your Charismaticness"?

Love makes the world go around and Pacifism is great... as long as the Nazis
are not killing you. I think I'll start A New Age Communist Party... at
least they'll know how to deal with fascists.

I hope Roy does not start painting his head and accepting gold plated Rolls
Royces from the overpaid Americans who are sending this stuff out.

Could be that if this stuff is true.... then he will become like another
Wilhelm Reich... Brilliant at the beginning with sustained creative
development and completely mad at the end... With a whole school of meta
philosophy arguing about exactly when the transition occurred.

All we need now is some intimations of divinity, a few crop circles and some
UFO sightings...

Last week I watched 4 films in the star wars series... well I was reviewing
them to see if they were a suitable present for my nephew...

You know... they may seem a bit far fetched but...

Ohhh... I can feel it happening now.... a soul quake in my groundstate...
Mmmuurrrraaahhh.... Ah ...That's better...

I declare that I have accepted Jabba the Hutt as my personal saviour and
guru.

Or perhaps someone has slipped some Ecstasy in the secretary's coffee!!!

I keep seeing Falon Gong all over the place, perhaps we can team up with
them? Their founder is immortal it seems...

I have taken to chanting "Falon Gong ... C.I.A." at them but they just take
the leaflet back and keep a poker face.

Ahh life in the trenches of 21st century culture wars...

I had better not post this... or surely karmic retribution will be visited
upon me..

Tim

 oops my finger slipped... :)

Hmmmm ... gotta say I thought it might even be a crank e-shot to stir a
little trouble on the list when I first saw it. I'm still kind of holding
out hope that if it isn't that, then perhaps it is more a case of
publicist-speak: would be interesting to know if Bhaskar approved the
language. As has been said, all very well for those kinds of ideas of love
to be in there since it does preoccupy much of this thoughts lately, but
what is more disturbing is the whiff of evangeliprofitism. I'm a big fan of
infommercials but normally for Woks and knives and so on.

I completely agree with Daniel's sentiments (and
suspicions?)
