Sorry it took so long to get back to you.  The cites that I gave you 
mention Bataille's secret society only briefly, if at all.  To find out 
more about Acephale, you might want to check out Bataille's biography by 
Michel Surya called _La Mort a l'Oeuvre_. It has not yet been translated.
