Strauss's "Siren-Language: Kafka and Blanchot." _SubStance_ 14 (1976): 18-34. Also, Jean-Paul Sartre's strange-ish piece on _Aminidab_ collected in _Literary and Philosophical Essays_ tr. Annette Michaelson. London: Hutchinson & Co., 1968: 56-72. Most recently, David Farrell Krell has written about Blanchot and Kafka in his _Lunar Voices: Of Tragedy, Poetry, Fiction, and Thought_ (1995). Any thoughts on MB's (pseudo?-) "citation" of FK in _L'arret de Mort_ (i.e. "If you don't kill me...") and any information on its source? Sara Guyer pypci-AT-csv.warwick.ac.uk
