Subject: MB: L'arret de mort


I would be very interested in having the reference on la _raie de mort_,
since I am writing on Blanchot right now and would love to quote the critic
who found the pun.  I have reread l'Arret de mort several times, but it
never occurred to me.  It makes a lot of sense if one remembers the
importance of J.'s hands in the novel and  of the "moulage des mains" that
keeps living after her death.
