My experience, both with Blanchot himself and with those who've had contact
 with him (I've had brief but helpful correspondence) bears out what Leslie
Hill says.  By the way, my emailer doesn't translate diacritics.  Would
it be harder or easier in general for people not to use accents in French?
It would make messages easier for me to read, but perhaps harder for others.
