Date: Thu, 26 Feb 1998 00:30:02 EST Subject: Re: MB: List? [Them "Limit-Experience($)",...] I would like to take but a few lines to respond as succinctly as possible to the postings as of late. There is no question that they have become rather juvenile in nature but before you all jump on certain people's bandwagons, whom shall remain nameless by request, may I provide a bit of clarity? While you see my or Lucio's postings on here and the criticisms fly, the plethora of rather harassing private e-mails that I get from the said unmentioned person are never seen by any of you. Take whatever I write, double it in strength, length and number and you have my mailbox, chock full. How is this any better? But what disturbs me more than that is the fact that the whole reason this started was that a certain person complained of not having a freedom of expression so to speak on here without the worry of criticism. Now the thought is out there of shutting down the list for that very reason, that people are speaking freely. Am I the only one who senses this unbelievable irony? I subscribe to this list to learn, and that is all inclusive, in style, content, and personal flavor. What can be learned from conformity? Shut this down if you will, or be selective in who or what is posted like some dictatorship, but do it for valid reasons, not those related to ego as such among members. Has anyone even considered the possibilty that if you don't care for a contributor simply don't read them, ignore them, or change the subject to start your own discussion? Just an observation.... "Forget regret or life is yours to miss."
