Ok, I agree with mike and especially Socha about doing something to clean
out the garbage that gets posted on this list. I think that a writer of
the  High caliber that Blanchot certainly demonstrates deserves more than
"self-promoting" posts as mike suggested -- come on, let's stop promoting
our books and writings and let's _risk_ a reading of Blanchot and relevant
relations such as that between him and Derrida and Bataille and Levinas.
Let us show how we can carry on a conversation beyond treating this list
as a glorified bulletin board for self-indulgence and "self-promotion".
Whose going to be the first to show us some serious and weighty post and
break this awful silence and downright low cowardice threatening to shut
down our freedom of speech?
