	Yes, it is possible to have serious and rigorous discussions.  It has happened
before on this list and is even the norm on other lists; I hope that it will
become so here.  One doesn't want to 'produce' discourse for the sake of
producing it, but it seems that a bit of solicitousness a healthier habitat to
take hold. I think it will come, clear a little space and turn in that
direction.  There are good signs.
